Welcome to Big Stretch Yoga and meet the founder and your yoga instructor, Joanne Lowe.
Move and breathe at an easy pace as you enjoy our ever-changing, easy to follow Hatha yoga classes offered for your comfort and convenience from our beautiful Livestream Yoga Studio in Prince Edward County.
Our all-levels Livestream yoga classes are perfect for those who enjoy / prefer the convenience of practicing from home, the cottage or while travelling. No worries about traffic and construction, parking or unfavourable weather. And, pets always get in FREE!
With over 28 years experience in leading classes, retreats, fundraisers and special events, in the Summer of 2024, Joanne chose to close the Toronto Yoga studio to finally achieve her dream of moving to the country, or as they say in Prince Edward County… ‘The County’.

Bringing along our Toronto student base by way of Livestream yoga classes, we’ve also had our clients join us from British Columbia, Mexico, The Canary Islands, Nova Scotia, Ottawa, New Brunswick, Montreal, Florida and even Kathmandu, to name a few! And, we can’t wait to welcome a new gang of yoga practitioners from the County to our Livestream yoga class format and offer workshops, corporate yoga, special events and retreats as well.
Hatha yoga is a gentle, yet effective yoga practice that enhances your health and well-being. The simple breathing, stretching and muscle relaxation techniques relieve various symptoms of stress, including tension headaches, fatigue, anxiety, back-pain, depression and insomnia.
In our classes, we slow down from our hectic schedules, allowing the breath to flow through the postures. Create balance by uniting opposites – effort and grace, stability and fluidity, strength and softness. Rather than just exercising, we can begin to connect the breath with body and mind, directing our attention inward.
